Ministry of Tourism’s ‘Incredible India’ campaign to gain new momentum

With the aim of taking the Indian entertainment and tourism industry to new heights, the Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI) has announced its grand annual event. The 24th edition of the IAAPI Amusement Expo is being organised from March 10 to 12, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai. Supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, under the banner of ‘Incredible India’, the Telangana and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Departments will be present as official partner states in this event.

Recognized as Asia’s largest and most focused technology show for the amusement and theme park sector, the expo will span a record 15,000 square meters this year. Over 200 exhibitors from over 10 countries, including India, the US, the UK, Germany, the UAE, and China, are participating in this three-day extravaganza. This year, 43 new companies will be showcasing their cutting-edge digital attractions, water park slides, and high-tech arcade innovations.

IAAPI President Ankur Maheshwari highlighted the industry’s potential, stating that the Indian entertainment industry is at a historic turning point. He estimated that the market will double from the current ₹11,500 crore (₹11,500 crore) to ₹22,000 crore (₹22,000 crore) by 2030. The exhibition will also feature key sessions such as “IAC Connect” and “Safety Conclave,” where global experts will discuss safety standards and operational protocols.

This expo will not only create new business opportunities for investors and real estate developers, but also outline future tourist destinations for children and youth. Driven by urbanization and rising disposable incomes, the region is emerging as a hub for the country’s tourism economy.
